Hey....New to the whole thing and would like to know how to get a game for the PS3 downloaded and make it play on my system. I have a PS3 slim 160gb system. I would like to get some games but have no idea how to go about doing so. Please help.

Settings -> System -> System Information -> Current Firmware
if it's anything ABOVE 3.55, you have to open your console and connect (clip or solder) some kind of flasher hardware unit to it, so you can revert back to 3.55, and that can only be done on some older slim ps3's. to check if your ps3 is old enough you have to check the serial # on the sticker on the back of the console. |
