Top Ten Abandonware Games
#1
I'm going to compile a CD-R worth of old games, a.k.a. abandonware, and I am running out of ideas.

I want you guys to help me come up with some ideas on what to play. I enjoy multiplayer and DOS games.

It doesn't matter to me if you are playing the games I already have, it's a little opinion post, well, sort of.

Fire away.

The Original "Jagged Aliance" is a kick ass strategy / turn based combat / role playing game. Features excellent voice acting, if you can get your hands on the CDR edition.

If you're into point and click adventures, Beneath a Steel Sky is pretty good. I'm not sure if Grim Van Dango counts as abandonware, but that's my absolute favorite in that genre.

Multiplayer shooters me and my pals had great fun with include Redneck Rampage and Outlaws

For multiplayer RTS - do you know about openRA?

Thanks, ill88eagle.

No, I haven't known about openRA. However, through looking at it, I hope they're not going to get legal pressure by Westwood/EA Games to have it shut down.

In the early last decade, Blizzard did so to a project named Freecraft, and got their wish.

I'll try what you gave me, and thank you again, old pal.
