Very cool, good to see the funding is there, now why can't they riff more blockbusters with all this support? Actually I wonder what ridiculously unattainable goal will they set for a "Just The Jokes" riff this time, $2 million maybe? Will it be National Treasure again? Whatever, I'm happy but still bitter that they keep shoveling VOD crap and getting away from the franchise movies, pick better movies guys. As for an MST3k revival, it sounds nice because it's MKB but I think we've evolved past the sideshow. The Rifftrax format is just fine, no need for silhouettes or invention exchanges or movie signs, I got my nostalgia fix from Jonah and the bots for the Netflix seasons and loved it probably more than anyone on here but I still think the better route is to move on and further the Rifftrax brand honestly.

I originally pledge $200, but just added $20 for the coin. And with my income taxes coming up, I hope to have enough to get them by next month.

I admit the reboot seasons got some problems but Joel is a genius. MST3K (and in expansion, Rifftrax) wouldn't happen if it weren't for him and I'm glad he is still around to give us what's best.

You got your opinions, I got mine, so to each their own so I won't try to argue with you folks.

So, maybe this is old news here, but news to me. Joel just sold out his interest in MST3K a couple of weeks ago, perhaps making this Rifftrax MST3K combo possible. Bringing back the original cast (either one, any combination of) was always the best way to "bring MST3K 'Back'" in the first place, IMO.

From January 16th: "Radial Entertainment, the entertainment company formed from the merger of Shout! Studios and FilmRise, has obtained full ownership over the “Mystery Science Theater 3000” brand from creator Joel Hodgson’s Alternaversal."
