As to why Mike is back on the SOL and all... Maybe do something like "it was all a dream" or (for something slightly different and that could allow to bend the rules) "Mike got into a coma and none of this happened (or maybe some did)" and pick up from late season 10 ? The post-season 10 stuff was so atrocious, I hope they'll act like nothing happened. Crow and Servo still have their classic voices instead of all sounding the same, Mike is on the ship being watched by Pearl, Bobo and Brain Guy, Gypsy still is the character we love and not that horrible Bizarro version with a "politically correct" name... Pearl may have a granddaughter and TV's Frank a son, but these side-characters are written and played by competent people and are thus funny and likeable instead of impossible to stomach. Not sure how Dr. F or Larry could be brought back, assuming they would be (I know Larry appeared in the first reboot, so maybe he won't be in the new one ?) since Clayton's death was shown but maybe the back and forth trips in time created a paradox and now he is alive again.
I'm kinda disappointed Joel wants nothing to do with the new stuff, but seeing how "his" MST3K turned out I guess it's for the better. No more of this painful schtick.

JusSonic felt like instead of responding to me here in this thread they'd leave me a negative reputation thing here on my profile for having the temerity to not like Joel.
How someone who has been a "member of the community" here for so long can be so thin skinned is beyond me.

y'know, I'm one of the few people who wanted to see Joel and Mike riff movies together (which I thought was gonna happen the first time I watched Soultaker) and when I heard about this kickstarter I had my hopes up again but reading the comments here, it seems it ain't gonna happen. And yes I know they've riffed together on one (or two?) of the RiffTrax Live shows but I wanted it to happen on MST3K.
I also thought of a sketch where Trace, Bill and Hampton, all as Crows, alongside Josh, Kevin and Baron, as Tom Servos, all going crazy on each other, but I'd guess it probably won't happen. Btw, could someone tell me if Jonah, Hampton and Baron will be on this show as well ?

Bummed there's no mention of Frank, Trace, or Joel in the Kickstarter but hoping for some surprises! Greatly looking forward to these new episodes.
Also I'm forgetting - you can add bonus stuff to your pledge at the end generally, right? The coin and ornament interest me but I'd need to see the designs first.

Frank and Trace riffing together on 'The Mads Are Back' episodes ranks up there with the classic MST3k stuff. Hope they're included in the Kickstarter episodes.
